Position Title: Administration -Volunteer
Location: Work from Home
Time Commitment: Flexible – up to 5 to 8 hours per week.
Overview: Heal Canada is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team. This hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility to work from home, making it an ideal role for those looking to contribute to meaningful projects on their own schedule. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to improve the quality of life for patients through various initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and Administering Patient Surveys: Develop and manage surveys focused on a variety of medical diagnoses or quality of life issues to gather essential data from patients.
- Data Analysis: Analyze survey data to derive meaningful insights that can inform our initiatives and support patient advocacy efforts.
- Project Report Preparation: Contribute to the preparation and compilation of comprehensive written project reports.
- Advisory Board Participation: Participate in advisory boards alongside physicians, patients, and stakeholders to provide valuable input and perspectives.
- Article Contribution: Write and prepare articles for our digital magazines, E3 Advocacy and My Blood My Health, covering various topics relevant to patient advocacy and healthcare.
- Social Media Engagement: Support social media awareness programs by creating and sharing content that promotes our mission and initiatives.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as required to support the organization’s goals and projects.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
- Passion for patient advocacy and improving healthcare outcomes.
- Flexibility in handling various tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
